When we arrived to Osaka we got help from the information center as well as the station where the aquarium was with passes and maps. The passes were those sheets with the cute whale shark cards. They could be used to travel on the way to the aquarium as well as a pass into the aquarium. I think they were around 2,400 yen a piece, but a great deal nonetheless since the aquarium ticket was already 2,000 or so yen a piece.

We got these great 700 yen all day bus passes on the Green Bus, and we were able to use them to sight see in Fukuoka without spending a fortune and without getting lost!

Bus tickets. Unlike Tokyo, Fukuoka’s transportation centers around buses, not trains.
